What is Fractional?
Fractional is your fractional C-suite and founder’s office: we plug into the strategic and operational gaps of founders, CEOs and senior leaders and run complex, non-core functions for them. One monthly plan covers LegalOps, finance, strategy, operations, branding and AI orchestration. Work with us as a Founder’s Office, a Strategy Partner or a Back Office, or on a single workflow; you pick a plan, and we prioritise your requests within its hours.
Do all plans include your full range of services?
Yes. Every plan includes LegalOps, finance, strategy, operations, branding and AI orchestration. There are no limits on what you can use, as long as it fits within your hours.
Whose hours are included?
Your plan’s hours are blended hours from Fractional’s in-house team and our consulting partners. One plan covers work that would otherwise need several hires.
Do you bill monthly? Is there a trial?
Yes. Fractional bills monthly in advance. Most engagements run 6 to 12 months, and we offer a three-month trial at a reduced, fixed cost.
Is it only for founders?
No. Senior leaders and department heads in larger companies use us for strategic or operational bandwidth. We plug into existing leadership teams to run workflows, manage deliverables and drive execution.
Why not hire, or use a consulting firm?
A plan gives you senior capability across strategy, operations and execution without the cost of several full-time hires. On Essential, 20 hours cost USD 3,000 a month (USD 150 an hour), against USD 250 to 500 an hour for one-off project work. Unlike traditional consultants who advise from the outside, we execute alongside your team.
Can we change plans later?
Yes. You can move between plans or add hours as your needs change, and use single workflows alongside a plan.
How do we track hours and delivery?
You get a real-time timesheet, updated regularly, and weekly memos on what was delivered and what is next.
Do you replace our lawyers or auditors?
No. Fractional is not a law firm or an investment firm. We run legal and finance work as operations and coordinate licensed counsel and advisers where a matter needs them.
